Emergency Services
Experts say that in an emergency it is critically important to get to the closest hospital within 20 minutes.
Fortunately for our region, Copley’s award-winning Emergency Department is strategically located 20 minutes or less from nearly all of the communities we serve.
Expert Emergency Care When Minutes Matter
Copley’s emergency team cares for more than 13,000 patients each year.
We provide critical care during life-threatening emergencies, treating heart attacks, broken bones, accidental injuries, and much, much more.
Each patient has his or her own unique needs and each receives individualized care to meet those needs.
“My experience at Copley ER and as a patient can only be described as exceptional. Doctors, nurses, and staff at all levels were simply GREAT.”
Our Emergency Medical Team
Emergency care is a highly specialized discipline with extraordinary demands. Our physicians are board-certified in emergency medicine, and our nurses must obtain ongoing training in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
In addition, many of our Emergency Services team are active volunteers on our community’s emergency rescue squads.
Copley’s critical care transfer team provides stabilizing care and rapid transfer, in coordination with a local ambulance service for those who require specialized care offered at a tertiary center. If necessary, a regional helicopter service is also available within 35 minutes from our facility.
High-Tech + High-Touch
Rest easy, knowing Copley is providing both ‘high-tech’ sophisticated medicine along with ‘high-touch’ compassionate care.
