Kipp Bovey (she/her) has been at the Women’s Center and Copley Birthing Center since 2012, joining her mentors Jackie Bromley, CNM and Marje Kelso, CNM, who have since retired. Prior, she was a midwife at Gifford Medical Center in Randolph, VT. She completed her Master’s in Nursing and Midwifery Certification in 2003 through Yale University, and returned to Vermont immediately. She joined the Copley Birthing Center nursing staff to get to know her new home town hospital. Kipp specializes in prenatal care and birth, women’s health and contraception. She continues to expand her training in adolescent health and menopause care.
“I thrive on supporting the members of our local community, giving them caring, personalized, evidenced-based care and knowledge, close to home. My daughter was born in Room 18, and my son was born at home. Outside of work I love to garden, do pottery, read on the beach, watch my kids’ sports, and XC ski.”
