Dr. Harlow, who has deep roots in Vermont, is a fellowship-trained, board-eligible orthopedic surgeon specializing in the treatment of all shoulder disorders. He has specific interests in the treatment of rotator cuff tears, shoulder fractures, shoulder arthritis, and complex shoulder instability.
While at the Cincinnati Shoulder and Elbow Fellowship, he received specific training in rotator cuff-sparing, total shoulder replacement and arthroscopic bone augmentation procedures for complex shoulder instability. Dr. Harlow also received additional training in shoulder surgery in France with Drs. Valenti and Boileau.
He has been awarded multiple grants to conduct his research, written peer-reviewed publications, given presentations throughout the country, and is the Chief Medical Officer for a Cleveland-based start-up, Notus Labs, which develops wearable technology to improve the safety and performance of athletes.
