Stuart joined Copley’s orthopedic team in July 2019 bringing six years of cumulative experience as a physician assistant in fast-paced Emergency Departments and an Orthopedic Surgery Clinic.

Prior to Copley, Stuart served as a Physician Assistant at The Steadman Clinic in Vail, Colorado. There, he provided autonomous and team-based care to acute and chronic upper extremity complaints as well as upper and lower extremity orthopedic trauma in a face-paced and high volume environment.
While in Denver, Colorado he spent over a year working at St. Anthony’s Hospital, a Level I Trauma Center, and St. Anthony’s Summit Medical Center, a Level III Trauma Center. At both hospitals he worked independently with minimal oversight. In addition to treating acute medical and traumatic emergencies, he provided fracture management, joint/fracture reductions, splinting, etc.
From 2013-2016 he served as Physician Assistant at Yale-New Haven Hospital, New Haven, CT, a fast paced urban emergency department. There, superior performance, accuracy and decision making skills were key to emergency care.
