Copley’s Annual Scramble Golf Tournament is not only a good time, it also helps Copley Hospital continue to provide exceptional care for our community. For more than three decades, this annual event has been the heart of our fundraising events, bringing together local community, business, and healthcare leaders for a fun day of golf and socializing. Be a part of the fun and help raise money for your community hospital. When you support the Copley Scramble, you ensure that Copley’s most important needs and the needs of the community are being addressed. Last year, we raised $20,000 in support of our cardiology department.

Since 1987, the Copley Golf Scramble has been a key fundraiser for the hospital. Proceeds from the tournament have helped with projects including our MRI Suite, Surgical Center, and expansion of our Emergency Department. Combine these great causes with friends and a wonderful course, it is a win-win for all!

Proceeds from this year’s event will support the construction and outfitting of our new Medical Office Building in Waterbury. As one of the largest orthopedic practices in the state, and growing, the new building will provide much needed space to expand access to accommodate the increasing volume of orthopedic needs – from hips, knees and shoulders to foot, ankle and hands!

In addition to prizes for the lowest overall team score, specialty prizes are also awarded for a variety of categories ranging from the longest drive, to the nearest to the pin, or hole-in-one’s. These additional prizes are made possible thanks to generous area businesses.
